SpeedMenu.com is launching at this year’s SXSWi. The phone application allows patrons to order their food and drinks directly and securely into their tabs. No need to wait. No need to have an account. No need to input credit card information. All you need is an Internet connection and SpeedMenu.com.

Unlike any other system, SpeedMenu.com is meant to enhance a patrons experience with their server, help the staff during busy times and maximize profits per customer for the venue.

The moment you open a tab the wait staff hands you a receipt with a location, table and 4 digit pin numbers. Using a cell phone you log on to www.SpeedMenu.com and enter that information and you are securely connected to your tab. No need to wait to order another drink. Just click the reorder button on your tab and the order is placed directly into the venue’s system. Want to close your tab? Click the close my tab button and your tab will automatically print for the wait staff. Pay cash or credit card as you close out with the wait staff in person.

SpeedMenu.com not only makes ordering simplified but it gives a user the option to open a free account which and help a user track tabs and receive information about promotions and future specials at participating bars and restaurants.

Currently SpeedMenu.com has integrated its system with Dinerware – a bar/restaurant POS (Point of Sale) system that is used by hundreds of venues across the nation.

On March, 15, 2010, at Lanai in Austin from 4pm-5pm, SpeedMenu.com will allow patrons to test use its system. Come test out the first mobile menu that allows you to order from your cell phone.

He is the currently the owner of Remote Operations and Merchant Logics, and has been in the development of software and services business since 1987. Bagdonas has authored four books on telecommunications network engineering and data communications network engineering. These books serve as fundamental reading in many universities offering network engineering programs.
